Inventory Storage and Control

  • With few exceptions, all Jones Performance Products hoods should be stored on their nose, and set squarely in a safe secure area to prevent twisting, distortion, or stress.

Storage Area Preparation

  • Area designation should first be chosen with safety and convenience in mind. This area should be cleared and leveled to obtain a clean and easily accessible storage lot.
  • After leveling off desired area, wooden pallets or runners should be placed down with a nonabrasive covering such as cloth, carpet, or cardboard on storage surface. This material will help prevent scratching and marring of hood surface during storage.
  • Should this area be in an outside or high traffic area we suggest hoods be secured to prevent tippage.
  • By correctly storing hoods in this fashion, your JP hood will retain its high quality standards, and be ready for application when needed.

Delivery Policy

All product sold is shipped F.O.B. West Middlesex, PA.

Jones Performance offers the following options to get the products to our dealers.

  1. Ship via Common Carrier Freight Collect. Hoods will be shipped in 400 lb. test cardboard boxes.
  2. Dealers can arrange for pickup at our plant. In this option there are no additional charges. (Product Cost Only)
  3. Delivery via JP. Delivery cost will be allocated by the following equation:
  • (% of Total cumulative Miles + % of Total Hoods) ÷ 2 = % of Total Cost.
  • % of Total Cumulative Miles is determined by how many miles you are from West Middlesex, PA as it relates to the total cumulative miles of any given route. (One Way)
  • % of Total Hoods is determined by how many hoods you order on any given load.
  • Total Cost is determined by miles to the farthest delivery point.

JP trucks are capable of hauling 16-22 hoods. These trucks run at a current cost of 1.50 per mile.
